I got my first guitar on Christmas! I actually hated the guitar and never
played that one! I look happy, but I was hoping to get TOYS!

Then I saw KISS on the wall of a record store. My father bought the album "Dynasty"
and this is what came soon after that.

I only got interested in playing guitar (actually bass guitar) after listening to
Def Leppard's "Ghosts of War" and Billy Sheehan's bass riffs on the Spanish version of
David Lee Roth's "Eat Them and Smile" album, called "Sonrisa Salvaje" . I still love that album.
Here I am during my first week of playing guitar and then three years later with my first electric guitar.

While I was playing guitar for 6 to 8 hours a day (and not doing to good with my marks at high school),
I joined a punk band as their drummer.
The band was called "Anarkia". The first two times I performed in front of an audience, I looked like this!

Later in 1991, I decided that punk drums were not as cool as my guitar at home, so I asked Freddy
and Richard from my university to play with me on a funk-grunge- metal project
called Emma Hoo. Inspired by Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Megadeath ,
this band lasted eight years, and had many great concerts.

This was EMMA HOO's very last concert in 1999, "Rockaton por el Eje Cafetero",
a benefit concert to raise funds for the big earthquake in Colombia.
